Check-In & Check-Out Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Please plan your travel schedule accordingly. Luggage storage may be available through the building front desk for a fee. Housekeeping This property is privately managed and not associated with the hotel, therefore housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. The unit will be stocked with basic daily essentials based on the reservation size and length of stay.  Unit Size Approximately 563-570 sqft of interior living space, plus a 100 sqft private patio / lanai area. Please note that photos may be taken with wide-angle lenses, which can sometimes make spaces appear larger than they are in person. Sofa Beds Sofa beds are provided for additional sleeping arrangements. If you plan to use the sofa bed during your stay, please inform our team in advance so we can ensure it is properly prepared. The maximum weight limit is 220 lbs. Bunk Beds Bunk beds are available in the unit. For safety, the minimum age requirement is 6 years old. The maximum weight is 110 lbs per bunk, with a total combined weight limit of 220 lbs for the bunk bed system.
 Parking Self-parking available in the building garage for $47 per day, payable at the on-site parking vending machine. Rates are subject to change. Maximum vehicle height clearance is 6 ft. Extended wheelbase vehicles or large trucks are not recommended due to garage size limitations. Please contact us in advance if you are unsure whether your vehicle will fit in the garage.
 Cancellation Policy All reservations are subject to the cancellation policy selected at the time of booking. Refund eligibility is determined by the specific policy applied. Guests should review the cancellation terms carefully before confirming their reservation. Once a reservation is confirmed, travel dates may not be modified. We highly recommend guests consider purchasing travel insurance prior to confirming reservation. Travel insurance can help protect your trip in the event of unexpected schedule changes, delays, or other unforeseen travel disruptions. Building Operations The property is located within a privately managed building. From time to time, building management may conduct routine maintenance, fire alarm testing, inspections, or other operational work that could temporarily affect services such as water, electricity, elevators, or common areas. These activities are controlled by building management and are outside of the our control. While these situations are not frequent, they can occasionally occur as part of normal building operations. Location & City Environment The property is situated in central Waikiki, a vibrant and active area. As with most city locations, guests may occasionally notice sounds from street traffic, nearby businesses, building activity, or neighboring units. Annual Pool Closure: Please be advised that the Island Colony pool and jacuzzi deck will be temporarily closed for annual preventative maintenance beginning Sunday, November 9 at 9:00 PM. The pool and jacuzzi area are scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 17 at 7:00 AM, weather permitting. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this temporary closure!

  We visit Oahu very often & are familiar with different accommodations in the area. We enjoyed our stay here. The communication was very responsive & helpful whenever we had a question. The unit is beautifully remodeled & kept up. You can really tell the amount of love they have for their place. The location is wonderful if you’re spending time in Waikiki! The pictures (wide lens) do make it appear much larger than it is, so that was a surprise but it was comfy for 3 (I can’t imagine 6 unless it was just used to sleep). We were disappointed to only be provided 3 towels (+ 3 beach towels) without a way to do laundry conveniently (there is paid laundry in the building but we didn’t have the time). Also, as they note charging guests for damage to towels, we would love to see makeup (black) towels provided (there were only white). As an extra would love to see a water filter provided. They assured the tap is safe & bottle water to purchase in lobby.

  This condo in Island Colony fit our needs perfectly. Our two girls 9 & 6 loved the bunk beds and porch egg chair. Air conditioning was strong and hot water was immediate. We appreciated that amenities like coffee pods, salt and pepper, wagon, cooler, and beach towels were included. It was a little noisy at night from traffic and pedestrians but got used to it. Only thing that could be improved is more towels and blankets but that's pretty much all airbnbs. Would stay again!

  The location was excellent—just a short walk to everything we wanted to do, including great cafés, shops, and Waikiki Beach. The amenities were nice, especially the pool and deck area, which we enjoyed during our stay. That said, the room itself was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. We were able to make it work with four people, but it felt quite cramped. If it had been just two of us, it would have been much more comfortable. Because of the size, we likely would not stay here again unless we were traveling as a couple.

  The place is fresh and new. Centrally located to the action of Waikiki. Walking distance to everything, shopping and restaurants all around this unit. Also short walk to the beach as well. The on site amenities are good. Pool,BBQ grills, ice machines, laundry for a fee, gym for a fee, convenience store, and a restaurant in the lobby. Parking is also available at a charge of $47, which is a little painful. I chose to wrestle with canal parking all week to save on the parking fees, that is crazy, lots of long-term residents parking there; Parking is very limited. Which is typical of being at a downtown area. Everything's walking distance, or you can take public transportation which is just one block away to bus stop. Also this unit has air conditioning, mini splits in the living room and in the bedroom which was an added plus. The kids bunk beds, and the balcony overlooking the canal was a great perk for my family and I. All in all my family and I love this place.
